Boots & Capes W/ Stephi LaReine

I bought this cape towards the end of the summer when they first started appearing in the shops but the weather was so warm up until recently, so I've only just been starting to wear it. I've joined up with the lovely Stephi La Reine to style up an outfit with this seasons essential. You can check out her monochrome cape outfit here.
I love how comfy capes are! This one is particularly snuggly and warm, it even works as a blanket at the end of the day. I really like wearing skater skirts with this cape as it's quite a slouchy item, so I like something more fitted and flattering for the figure underneath. Then of course I had to pair it all up with my chelsea boots which I have worn to death over the past couple of years, they are a must have for your shoe collection!

Top - Primark

Have you been styling up capes this season?

Lets Go Kimono

I will apologise in advance for the not so great photos, it was a last minute decision to photograph the outfit before I went out to a bar with my friends.
As it's still chilly I opted for disco pants instead of a skirt, I did end up wearing quite a bit of black but the floral on the kimono and my lipstick were able to stand out more. I love this kimono, its a pretty way of covering up without being swamped by a jacket, blazer or coat, no one really wants to be carrying those around on a night out.

What I'm Wearing:
Missguided Kimono
Ark Crop Top
New Look Disco Pants
Urban Outfitters Necklace
Topshop Studded Flats
MAC Lipstick In Captive

Casual Bright Summer Jewels

I'm heading off to my boyfriends today but before I leave I thought I'd show you my outfit. It's a pretty simple casual summer outfit, the cutouts on the shoulders are great to keep you cool as it is still quite hot here in the UK to the usual.
I plaited my hair the night before to make my hair wavy and just pinned the top layers back and then for my makeup I kept it quite neutral with black eyeshadow for eyeliner.

Top - Missguided
Shorts - N/A
Necklace - Primark
Sandals - Oasis at Asos

I hope you liked my outfit and let me know if you would like to see more of these!
I'm off on holiday next week to Italy so I'm sure I'll have the chance to do lots of nice new OOTD's.
I hope you are all well and enjoying the summer.

Velvet Cut Out Skater Dress

It's almost my 18th birthday (30th January) and I've got a party booked. I don't have a lot of money at the moment and didn't want to wait for my birthday to get a dress and then it not look right on me or something.
I'd heard by many friends that Missguided had really nice dresses at great prices and they were right!
I found this dress, it's right on trend, definitely my kind of style and perfect for my party as it's not too dressy or too casual.
At only £18.99 I couldn't say no!
The great thing about it being velvet is that you don't get visible sweat patches or spillages which may occur at the party. It also has the perfect neckline for my body shape and once I get the tattoo I want, it may be visible from the cut outs.
So here are some photos of me wearing it, it was a bit chilly taking these photos outside in the snow and yes I really am that pale! Photo quality should be much better soon as I'm hoping to get a DSLR.

What I am wearing -
Necklace - Urban Outfitters
Jeffrey Campbell Lita's Black Suede - Office

Feel free to let me know what you think and I love you Missguided, going to be making many more purchases from you.
